Self-care is definitely more than just taking bubble baths, although relaxation and pampering can be a part of it.
Self-care encompasses a wide range of activities and practices that prioritize your well-being and nurture your physical, mental, and emotional health.
Ultimately, self-care is about taking intentional steps to nurture all aspects of your health and well-being. It's a holistic approach that recognizes the importance of self-preservation, self-awareness, and self-compassion in leading a balanced and fulfilling life.
How to do today
If Bubble baths are really your thing then that is what today is all about. It's finding 5 minutes or 5 hours to truly indulge in what you love and makes you feel amazing. I personally am not a fan of the bath I prefer to:-
Go to the local park or coffee shop with a book on my own
Walking barefoot on the beach
Having an afternoon nap, gets me bonus points if it is in the sun and a hammock
Chatting to a friend
Listening to music with bonus if there is dancing involved
Watching a sad movie on my own, there is no judgement on the amount of tissues I use that way.
